Leadership – Strengths Finder Trainings
Imagine A Workplace Where Teams have…
- Reduced conflicts because people know how to relate to each other…
- There is increased output because tasks are now assigned to the perfect team member for the job…
- There is more retention and engagement because everyone is now doing what they are naturally good at…
In addition, people are more confident, are more likely to achieve their goals, have higher levels of energy and vitality, experience less stress, perform better, are more effective at developing themselves and others and are growing as individuals and as teams.
The Strengths-Based movement is an everyday philosophy intended to maximize individual and team performance.
Employees who use their strengths everyday are 6 x more likely to be engaged on the job. (Gallup Research)
Zynergy International offers a ½ Day, 1 Day or 2 Day Strengths Finder Workshop.
Workshop prerequisite: The Gallup’s Strengths Finder 2.0 Assessment. (For the 2 day workshop there will be an additional assessment the CTI’s Baseline Assessment of Engagement.) The results will be captured and analyzed in a Team Grid Tool shared with the team. (seen in picture)
Follow-up meetings, coaching and consulting with team and key individuals will be provided upon request.
The Workshop engagement is customized based on the client’s specific needs but will most likely there will be a focus on
1. Review each team member’s strengths profile,
2. Outline how the team’s unique strengths interact,
3. Apply strengths to your team’s goals and measure results.
A Leadership – Strengths Finder Training will most likely include in more detail:
- Advanced thinking and building on the strengths of the team; What does the Team Grid Tool and Analysis tell us about our team? Based on the grid, where do we excel? What are our potential blind spots or gaps? How could we better maximize the strengths we have on this team to achieve our goals? How do we improve our communication?
- Zeroing in on each of the four domains: Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking. Review the characteristics of each domain, with a focus on what the team does well. How can we take the team from good to great? How can we play an even bigger game?
- Facilitate friction on the team, build team awareness of each player’s contribution and requirements to maximize team performance. If needed, provide the team with techniques for using strengths-based development to address specific team-related issues and challenges.
- Build self-awareness as a team and discover how others outside of your team see and experience your team. Educate the team on how to use your strengths within the context of other teams inside and outside the organization.
- Discover, develop and use your unique strengths for greater well-being and productivity to reach your team’s goals: How do I make a unique contribution to this team? How am I similar to our team? How am I different from the team? How does my difference add value to the team? Between which team members are there natural partnerships that I could do a better job of leveraging. Who should I partner with to complement my strengths?
- Build a Strengths-Based Individual development plan and an Accountability Plan to reach team goals and objectives.
- Track results
- Provide recognition and celebrate team success.
A typical Agenda is broken out into 3 sections and will typically look like this:
Name it!
Make your Signature Themes your own. Identify what these themes mean to you.
Claim it!
Appreciate the unique power and value you have and bring to the team.
Aim it!
Aim your strengths toward your goals and the goals of your team.
Maria made a truly enormous difference improving the inner workings of our organization, as she worked with me individually to explore and expand my leadership mindset to assure team optimization and success. She customized a workshop for our team, during which she helped to resolve tensions and conflicts around communication issues, setting up clear channels of expectations, decision making and accountability. Maria also helped us understand the unique strengths and energy of our team utilizing the Strengths Finder Team Grid to drive ultimate team performance to reach our goals. (We’re even expanding our team now!) She also recommended systems and processes measuring and tracking progress to assure continued success. In the Post Pandemic World, many organizations will need to do more with less, team optimization and productivity will become paramount, and I couldn’t recommend Maria’s warmth, positivity, intuitive insights, and expert guidance more emphatically.
I highly recommend Maria Brinck for any type of coaching and leadership consulting need for your business. Her work led to an immediate improved moral and performance on our team. She was easy to work with from the beginning to the end. She had an organized system for the pre-work for the Strengths workshop that made it easy for my busy participants to complete. Her follow up after the workshop with observations and findings was timely and succinct, and assured a sustainable, systemic change in our team’s mindset and behaviors. I found her style to be personable, engaging, very knowledgeable and empathetic. She is a unique and wonderful coach, who understands the motivators behind top performers. Her work is one of great impact.
Maria did a fantastic job conducting a leadership workshop with my team. Maria asked for succinct upfront input and was able to integrate my requests into her work. The workshop itself was extremely valuable, engaging and well received. Participants felt energized, inspired and already the next day started to take action based on our workshop discussions. Overall, Maria was very easy and efficient to work with. I will strongly consider building upon this introductory workshop and the outstanding leadership material with my team and Maria.
Maria set the tone of the workshop through ice-breakers, introductions, and engaging each table, which displayed a genuine interest in each individual. This speaks volumes.
Maria did a fantastic job leading the discussions and challenging us as a team.
